ABOUT THE HALL
At the heart of Kennington, opposite the Tandem Pub, the Village Centre is a much-loved and well-used community facility serving the village’s 4,000 residents and people from the surrounding area.
The Centre provides a welcoming and versatile space for a wide range of activities, events, meetings and community groups. Facilities available to hire include:

The Main Hall – a spacious hall with a stage, ideal for larger events, activities, performances and celebrations.

Three Meeting Rooms – suitable for meetings, classes, workshops and smaller gatherings.

Venture Hall and Kitchen Area – a flexible, self-contained space available to hire for a variety of activities and events, with access to the kitchen area.

Bar Area – available for use as part of suitable bookings.

Oxfordshire County Council Library – located within the Village Centre.
The Centre is home to a number of regular users and is also available for casual bookings, making it an ideal venue for community activities, private functions, meetings and celebrations. Special rates are available for village groups and all-day bookings.
The Kennington Village Centre, along with the village playground, Youth Club and the building currently occupied by the McIntyre Learning Centre, is managed by the Management Committee as a registered charity. The Committee works to maintain and develop these important community facilities for the benefit of local residents and the wider community.
For added peace of mind, a public-access defibrillator is located outside the main entrance to the Centre.
